MR. YUE RESIDENCE

The Mr. Yue Residence is a two-storey dwelling with a basement and roof deck, situated within Canyon Woods Resorts & Club in Laurel, Batangas. The design draws from an industrial-tropical language, combining heavy stone perimeter walls with a steel structural frame and large tempered glass panels, with timber cladding introducing warmth across the façade and interior volumes. The ground floor is organized around a central sunken living and dining area that opens directly toward a swimming pool and sundeck. The second floor contains three bedrooms and balcony access, while the roof deck accommodates a bar, seating, and outdoor dining. Material choices throughout; stone slab flooring, weather-resistant timber decking, and stone tile cladding; reinforce a grounded, tactile quality suited to the resort setting.
